About

Born in Geneva, Anaïde Davoudlarian graduated from the ECAL (École cantonale d’art de Lausanne, Switzerland) with a Bachelor in Industrial and Product Design in 2010. She then did an internship at the Nendo Design Studio in Tokyo (Japan). Anaïde is still very much drawn to Japanese aesthetics, not only the idea of beauty in its simplest and purest form, but also the consideration and respect for the ephemeral nature of all things. Back in Switzerland, she showed a growing interest in jewelry. She underwent training in order to get more autonomy in her jewelry work.

Very enthusiastic about production techniques, she explores new ways of creation mixing her industrial design background with her hand jewelry skills. In her work, she also explores the possibilities of combining colors and metal, using paper, pigment or enamel.

In addition to jewelry making, she teaches design thinking through craft and experimental process during thematic workshops.
